during my stay, I loved that it was a short walk to both the stunning terrace walk, making morning strolls absolutely picturesque, and the wonderful dining options just minutes away, like King Tiger and Monsoon Bar & Restaurant, which made meals so convenient and enjoyable.

58 On Cron Motel provided a lovely and cozy atmosphere. The manager, Alex, greeted us warmly, offering helpful tips about local attractions and walks. Our family of four fit comfortably in a basic but well-equipped room, complete with a kitchenette. The location was excellent, just a short walk from restaurants and attractions. We appreciated the electric blankets, making our winter stay snug. However, the Wi-Fi connection was weak at times, which made it frustrating to check in on things back home. Also, the laundry facilities operated with limited hours, making it a bit tricky to manage our washing needs. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a comfortable stay in Franz Josef, especially for families.

I enjoyed my stay in a well-equipped studio that provided a full range of cooking utensils and appliances, which made our meals convenient. The location was fantastic, right next to the glacier guides, and within easy reach of shops and dining options. Just a great fit for a brief hiatus in Franz Josef with all in all brilliant value for money. The shared BBQ area was a nice touch for cooking and mingling with other travelers. Bring your own towels as there aren't towel rails provided.
