It was designed for travellers in mind. (induction cooker - save time, Heater light in the bathroom, well insulated room - warm, free DVD titles for loan). Highly recommended

The pictures and name didnt do justice to the hotel. It should be changed to reflect the 5 star motel status.

The views of the mountain behind were incredible. the location was quiet and perfect, with the main shopping center and all the main shops within walking distance. - Had lunch/dinner at Canavan's Restaurant, which was conveniently located within walking distance from the hotel.

We like to be close to Franz Josef glacier and this motel is at the perfect location. Right before arriving the motel, we picked up raw salmon sushi for dinner at a salmon farm along the highway. The hotel will book any glacier trips for you but we just chose to visit it ourselves since it is so close by. We heard tremendous bird songs in the morning outside the room next to the thick bushy wilderness.
